How many people does it take to make a belly cast?
It takes at least 2 people. Those two people are the pregnant woman and a helper to put the plaster strips over the belly. It certainly can turn into a party in which more than 2 people are involved. Be creative.
How long does it take to make a belly cast?
It should take approximately 30-45 minutes including the set up process and the initial drying period on the pregnant belly. Once the belly cast is removed from the belly, it should be allowed to dry for an additional 2 days before beginning the sanding and decorating process.
What more does the Complete Belly Cast Kit contain than the Basic Kit?

In addition, it comes in a decorative gift box which makes it perfect for a baby shower gift or a gift for any pregnant woman.

What kind of paint do you recommend for the decorating of my belly cast?
Any paint will work on the plaster. Most people use an acrylic paint but we have even heard stories of women using washable paint to give the belly cast a lighter look (Certainly, washable paint is recommended if using children’s hands etc. for hand prints). Many people also like to finish their belly cast with a glaze to give it a lasting finish and shine.
